This isn't a tactics book, this is a management book. It focuses more on gathering a force to fight and then supplying, assisting, and managing them. Which is what The Special Forces do... This is not a tactics book.
As a lot of people have stated this is really a book on how the guerrilla organization is organised and communicates. This seems like a must for prepers.
good book to build on as a force to fight. Teaches you where to start your fight..... GOOD ENUFF!!!!
It is a good handbook for those wanting to understand a bit more about the Special Forces and to understand the requirements of guerilla operations.
I've always enjoyed these kind of U. S. Army reference books, although it isn't for a person who is seeking techniques on how U. S. Guerrilla Warfare is done.
I was hoping that this would read a bit more like FM 3-21.8, putting everything into easy to learn layman's terms. I bought this book for a friend with an interest in guerrilla warfare tactics. This book focuses much less on the tactical side of conducting unconventional warfare tactics and placing much emphasis on the organizational and technical side of it. That is to say, I was hoping that it would be oriented towards a junior leader audience (TL-PL) but instead it focuses more on the operations level.
I'd prob not bought this, had I checked reviews FIRST.
