This is my review for the **** *** Around the World: Swear Word Coloring Book.When I saw this book I couldn't believe it was real. Due to the nature of my job, I do tend to swear a little (nonstop, all the time). So to have a coloring book that shares both of my passions is kind of amazing. Not to mention, in addition to stress reduction, I am now learning other languages! It's a win-win!The book is really great. It has a sturdy cover which is great because I tend to destroy things. I also like that the pages aren't too intricate. A lot of bigger areas to color, because obviously I can get very busy, and must stop everything at the drop of a hat. If the pages were too highly intricate it would take me weeks to finish just one. For me, this book is perfect. I love to color and I think the foreign "phrases" were a fun idea!I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review, which I take very seriously. This adult coloring book is amazing!! As a both-middle-fingers-a-blazing kind of girl, this book is perfect for me. Each of the 50 pages are completely unique. The paper and binding quality is excellent as well. Super fast shipping and wonderful customer service as well. I was given a discount on this product for my honest review.
This is one of the greatest coloring books ever! Way too funny. Everyone that has seen it so far has wanted to steal mine! I had to tell them all where I bought it. If you have ever wondered how to tell someone off in their own language, this is the perfect coloring book for you. Each page has a different country and an image that is associated with that country. Then it tells you exactly how to say f you in that country. The images are all extremely detailed and very artistic. It definitely relieves stress saying f you a million different ways. You can't help but laugh. Its a great conversation piece to say the least!! As long as someone doesn't swipe it! So much fun!
I love this book, I love learning how to swear in different languages and coloring them? Bonus!These pages are thicker, which is nice. There is one picture per page, so that back of your picture is empty giving you a little more room for coloring items.As always for markers, I suggest starting on the very last page. I did this, and I was coloring a little light, while I had a lot of bleed through to that back of the page, very little to the next page, so I don't think I'll use markers in mine, but if you test yours, you may be able to.I received this product for free or at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. I have used this product and this is my own personal experience and opinion. I only purchase items I need or want, so, I take product reviews seriously, as I often rely on them myself when I'm purchasing products.
I use coloring to manage anxiety and panic attacks. I've noticed my husband being a little more stressed than usual and I thought getting him an adult coloring book would be perfect for him but I didn't want to get him a book filled with floral designs or animals, I wanted to get him something that would make him laugh. Since he is the most vulgar person I know, I started looking for coloring books pertaining to swear words when I stumbled onto this coloring book.I personally think the book is excellent. Each page is themed to a specific country, with the f word in that country's language. So there is a black and white image of something that is specific to each country, for example Egypt has a picture of King Tut's mask and the USA has a picture of the Statue of Liberty. I thought that was really cool because I honestly was just expecting words to color. The pages are thick but I don't think they are thick enough to handle markers without bleeding but they aren't double sided so if you do use markers you don't have to worry about ruining a picture on the back of the paper. If you are worrying about the ink bleeding though I would recommend putting something underneath the page (maybe another sheet of paper or a piece of cardstock) to prevent bleeding onto the following page.Although I originally purchased the book to help my husband deal with stress, I decided to hold onto this coloring book for my husband's christmas stocking. I think it will make a pretty hilarious stocking stuffer. Once Christmas rolls around and I give it to him I will update my review pertaining to how he liked the book and whether or not markers bleed through the pages.
I love it. The book is rather large in size, so plenty of room to color. There are fifty different countries to choose from, with only Canada and America having the same version of of those two words, of course. The lines are neat and clean. The images are fun and range from simple to intricate, so no matter your coloring mood, you'll find something!The pages are single sided to avoid bleeding through. I like to use colored pencils, but I imagine markers would work well with this coloring book too. The paper is thick enough, that unless your marker is bleeding heavily, you can use a marker without worrying about messing up other pages. The paper is good quality, and the surface was smooth and even. My colored pencils worked great!I was rather impressed with the quality of this book. I got a huge kick out of just looking through the pages, and so did everyone I showed it too. Several of my friends already want one for themselves. Give it a try!
